Camera obscure is a room with no light and contains some type of hole in which a ray of light peers through it and projects an image/picture of the external object onto an inside screen. This is an optical phenomenon in which projects an outside image invertedly and allows us to view the image portrayed behind the barrier- the wall or window behind us. For example, in photography class, our teacher darkened our classroom by enclosing all possible entries of light. However, one of the windows -that was covered with a plastic tarp- contained a hole in it in which a plowed a ray f light to peer through. She then handed us a box to hold over our head in which enclosed us between the wall and the hole. Through this we saw an inverted picture of the outside of our classroom.
